FAKE! Failures and Deceptions of Human Vision" is an interactive exhibition.
In our daily lives, vision is the sense we rely on the most. Yet, it is often unreliable: much of what we see and believe to be objective is not at all. The FAKE! exhibition reveals the limits of human vision, presenting it alongside a scientific description of the phenomena considered, thus surpassing the limitations imposed by our senses.

PURPOSE: Visiting FAKE! is not age-specific; we are all called to discover with surprise and wonder the marvels surrounding us, in every little object, and the illusions created by our brains.

TARGET AUDIENCE: 5+ years

VISIT DURATION: 1.5 hours

TOPICS COVERED: vision, brain, physics of color, brain deceits, animal vision.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
FAKE! is born from a collaboration with the CIMEC (Interdepartmental Center Mind and Brain) and under the scientific supervision of the Laboratory of Communication of Physical Sciences at the University of Trento.
